This Standing Mobile is the latest piece I’ve been crafting, known as “Chateau SV”. It is a thematic concept commissioned for a winemakers’ tasting room and out-door sampling garden where guests can view the vineyards and hear how the grapes are harvested and processed.
The upper tier is built to represent a grape cluster. The lower mass is fashioned like an oak aging barrel. The mesquite burls used for the base and the island are absolutely stunning.
The RS Pivot has been enlarged and reinforced with a two-layered sapphire scheme to address the increased size of this piece.
